10/09: Revised liability limits for air freight starting 01.01.2010
The present limit is at SDR 17 (Special Drawing Rights), from the above date it will be SDR 19 (according MC 99 = Montreal Convention 1999). The conversion results in a maximum insurance cover per kg air freight of CHF 35 to 40. The currently valid AWBs can still be utilised, however the new law will also apply to them.
